Reminiscing

November11

Many times my husband and I find ourselves reminiscing about items from our past that our children won’t remember. The phone hanging on the wall with the springy cord, the cable box connected to the television to be used like a remote control, and even film cameras.

At my son’s 4th birthday party, a guest told my 2 1/2 year old daughter that she took a nice picture and would send it to her. My daughter looked the guest in the eye and said to send it to her mommy, because she didn’t have a computer. That speaks for itself, really.

What things do you remember that you’re children won’t have a chance (g00d or bad) to ever know? What things will our children know and use, that we can’t even conjure up in our minds? That list may very well be longer.
