Finding Common Ground

Steve Dembo is running a 30 Days to Being a Better Blogger challenge over at Teach42. I signed on, as I figure it’s a good way to get moving on the details of blogging that I’ve been ignoring for a variety of reasons.  Anyway, today is day 3 and I’m staying caught up so far. Also, I’m enjoying it! I’m learning new things and it’s fun to follow other folks along in the comments on Steve’s blog.

• Day 1 was to check on the About page and be sure it was up to date and helpful. Check.
• Day 2 was about learning to monitor traffic to/from your blog. Check.
• Day 3 is today and it’s about saying thanks to someone that has helped me along. I have many folks to thank, but the one that I’m posting here is dogtrax from Kevin’s Meandering Mind. It’s likely that he won’t remember, but very early in this blog he notified me that he had added my blog to his Bloglines reader and I was AMAZED! Someone was reading what I had to say and it was someone that had an established site of his own. That one email encouraged me to keep on keeping on! Thanks, Kevin!
