Finding Common Ground

Talking Education (& Technology)

Meet Me!

IMG_3062 - Version 2Welcome to Finding Common Ground. I am Michelle Krill and I write here from time to time to share thoughts, reflect on learning and also to share interesting sites that I find. I’ve been a social worker, a systems analyst, a classroom teacher and now I work with teachers to assist with the integration of technology. In addition to the integration of technology, I have been working to help teachers shift their teaching practices to be more student centered.

It’s my belief that there are many opportunities for finding common ground. This is the place where it all comes together for me.

Hi there! I’m doing a project on Skype and researching how its helped people keep in touch, especially given the economy and long distance. I saw your post on “Kiddo: Lets Video-Skype Your Grandparents!” I’m really interested in how you connect your parents and your kids through Skype. I was wondering if you would be willing to share your story with me? Feel free to add me on Skype, zorbett from new york, NY or email me at jennyskypes@gmail.com. Thanks, I look forward to hearing your story and would so appreciate your time!

Michelle, I follow you on Diigo PA teachers group. Thanks for all the awesome stuff.

I need to interview a teacher for a Wilkes University grad class who uses cell phones to teach and for kids to use as a learning tool. If you know someone I could tap into and would be willing to be quoted in a class reflection, I would appreciate a link to them.

    Thank you.
